A place to learn, grow and feel less alone in the mental side of riding.

Most resources on the mental side of riding give you information and leave you to figure out the rest on your own. The Edge Performance Hub is different — it is a structured community where you learn, apply and keep building psychological skills month by month, alongside riders who are working through the same things.

You get sports psychology frameworks that make sense of how your brain actually works under pressure. You get a monthly live session to ask your real questions and go deep on a psychology topic. And you get a community where honest conversation is the norm and comparison culture is not welcome.

The mental work is easier
when you are not doing it alone.

Riders who get it

Being around people who take the mental side as seriously as you do changes everything. No explaining yourself. Just real conversation with riders who understand exactly what this sport asks of you.

Honest conversation

A space where you can say "I'm struggling before events" or "I lost confidence after a fall" without it being a big deal. The kind of conversation that actually helps you move forward.

Consistency over time

The mental work compounds. Showing up month after month, with the same community and the same tools, builds a foundation that holds up when it actually counts.

You do not need more pressure.
You need a better internal system.

"I ride so much better at home. The moment I get to a competition my brain just switches off."

Competition anxiety and pressure response

"I overthink everything. My brain does not switch off and I burn out before I even begin."

Overthinking and self-doubt

"One bad round and I spiral for weeks. I cannot seem to reset the way other riders do."

Emotional regulation and resilience

Everything you need to understand your mind and build skills you can actually use.

The Hub gives you ongoing access to sports psychology frameworks, a monthly live session, a growing resource library and a community of riders doing this work alongside you.

Resource Library

Sports psychology frameworks for riders

A growing library of tools built directly from Savanna's work — confidence, nervous system regulation, competition preparation, cognitive reframing, goal setting, understanding your brain. The knowledge riders normally only get through 1:1 sessions.

Live Sessions

Monthly live session with Savanna

One live Zoom session every month — Savanna covers a psychology topic and then opens up for Q&A so you can bring whatever is actually coming up for you. All replays posted within 24 hours, plus you get access to the full library of past sessions from day one.

Community

A rider-focused performance community

Event prep check-ins, honest conversation about setbacks and wins, riders who take this as seriously as you do. A space built without comparison culture — where being honest about your struggles is the norm.

Podcast and Deep Dives

On The Edge — early access and application

Early access to every episode of the On The Edge podcast, plus application prompts and discussion threads so the ideas actually become useful in your own riding rather than just interesting to listen to.

Understanding Your Brain
1

The neuroscience behind your riding

There is a reason your brain does what it does under pressure. Inside the Hub you learn what it is — how your nervous system, beliefs and self-talk shape your performance. Knowledge that changes how you see yourself as a rider.

Workbooks and Tools

Practical exercises you take into every ride

Guided workbooks, structured exercises and tools you keep forever. The skills you build inside the Hub travel with you into training, competition and life — not just while you are a member.

What a month inside the community actually looks like.

Week 1
New resource in the library

A new framework or tool lands in the library with a short explainer on how to use it and when. Apply it before your next training session.

Week 2
Live performance session

A live Zoom with Savanna — she covers a psychology topic relevant to riders, then opens up for Q&A. Bring your questions, your blocks, whatever is coming up. Interactive and practical.

Week 3
Explore the library

Dig into the resource library — frameworks, workbooks and tools organised by theme. Pick what's relevant to where you are right now and take it into your next ride.

Week 4
Podcast drop and discussion

Early access to the latest On The Edge episode with application prompts and a community discussion thread to close out the month.

What changes when you finally understand your mind.

Working with Savanna completely changed how I approach competition. I actually understand now why my brain was doing what it was doing — and I have real tools to work with it, not fight it.

Eventing rider

I had tried so many things for my competition nerves. This was the first time someone explained the psychology behind it in a way that actually made sense for riding. The frameworks are ones I still use every single event.

Having somewhere to ask the specific questions that come up around competition — with someone who actually rides at a high level and understands the emotional reality of it — is something I have not found anywhere else.

A month's worth of tools, sessions and community.

For NZD $30 a month you get ongoing access to sports psychology frameworks, a monthly live session with Q&A, a growing resource library, and a community of riders doing this work alongside you.

Most riders spend more than this on a single lesson, a set of boots, or an entry fee. The mental side of your riding is just as trainable as the physical — and it has just as much impact on what happens when it counts.

"This is not a quick fix. It is where serious riders come to do serious work on the mental side of their sport — together."

Built for riders who
take this seriously.

01

The Committed Competitor

You are actively competing and you know the gap between your training performance and your competition performance is psychological. You want a system and a community to work through it with.

02

The Development Rider

You are working your way up and you want to build psychological strength now — before the pressure increases — alongside others who are doing the same thing.

03

The Curious Learner

You want to actually understand how your mind works and learn practical skills you can take into your riding and into every other area of your life.

A place to build real, practical skills
Honest, warm conversation about performance
Led by a practising therapist and 4★ rider
A long-term investment in how you think and perform

Everything you need to know.

Do I need any psychology background to join?
Not at all. Everything is designed to be practical and immediately applicable — no academic background needed. If you ride and you care about the mental side, you will find value here straight away.
What if I cannot make the live sessions?
Every session is recorded and posted within 24 hours. You also get access to all past session replays and the full resource library from day one, so you can catch up on anything at any time.
Is this only for equestrian riders?
The community is primarily rider-focused and all examples and frameworks are built around equestrian sport. Athletes from other disciplines do find value here, but the content is most directly relevant if you ride.
How is this different from working with Savanna 1:1?
The Hub gives you ongoing access to the same sports psychology frameworks and direct access to Savanna at a fraction of the cost of 1:1 sessions. It is structured, community-led skill building rather than individual therapy.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, always. No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees. You can leave any time and rejoin any time. The community is here when you need it.
I have done Savanna's course — is this still for me?
Absolutely. Course graduates get access to a private alumni space inside the community, plus everything in the Hub. The membership is designed to be the long-term home for the work you started in the course.

Someone who has been
in both seats.

Savanna Stirling is a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and sports and performance therapist with a Master's in Psychology and a Postgraduate qualification in Neuroscience.

She is also a 4★ international eventing rider — which means every framework and tool inside the Hub has been tested against the real psychological demands of competitive equestrian sport. She does not teach theory. She teaches what actually works, because she has lived it herself.

The Edge Performance Hub is an extension of that work — made accessible, ongoing, and built around community.
