What is Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy?
CBH is a modern, evidence-based approach that combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with hypnosis, and I incorporate neuroscience-informed techniques.
CBT helps you understand and change unhelpful thought patterns, manage emotions, and build confidence. Hypnosis deepens the process by helping you focus, relax, and absorb new ways of thinking more effectively. -
Do I have to be an athlete or a rider to work with you?
Not at all.
While many of my clients are riders or athletes, the techniques I use apply to anyone who wants to improve their mindset, confidence, focus, or emotional regulation — whether that’s for sports, work, or daily life. -
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals. Many clients notice a shift within 3–6 sessions, though some prefer ongoing support.
I offer flexible options, including single sessions and mindset coaching alongside therapy. -
How do I book?

If you're a new client then book an initial chat which is a free 20-30 minute chat where you can get to know me a bit more and I can learn about your goals and what you want to work together on. Then you can make an informed decision if working together is right for you.

Hypnosis is simply a state of relaxed, focused attention.
You stay completely in control and aware at all times; it just allows your mind to process information more deeply and calmly. -
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes — sessions are available both in person (for NZ clients) and online for clients anywhere in the world.
Many clients find online therapy just as effective, and it allows for flexibility around training, travel, and work schedules.
